At L3montree Cybersecurity, Frédéric Noppe is passionately committed to secure software—with a clear preference for open source. His professional background includes a bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics with a focus on information security, as well as a master’s degree in Cybersecurity Management, which he completed with a master’s thesis on the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). The CRA is now one of his core areas of expertise: He helps companies translate the requirements of the EU regulation into practical terms for their processes and demonstrably embed secure software development. As a certified ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, he combines this regulatory knowledge with a structured, standards-based approach to information security. His philosophy: Security should not only meet all compliance requirements but also tangibly simplify the work of developers and security managers rather than creating an additional burden. In this way, he combines technical precision with a pragmatic approach to harmonize security and efficiency. His commitment to the industry is also evident in his membership on the ITC Committee of the Bonn/Rhein-Sieg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK). In addition, Frédéric is an active speaker at conferences such as the NIS-2 Congress, “Security unter Kontrolle,” the IT Days 2026, the LSZ CISO Days, and the Phish & Chips Cybersecurity Conference.
